Over recent months, Patrick has successfully transitioned me from essentially a “broken” body to a healed one that is ready to address life quite differently going forward.
Many weeks ago, I pinched two nerves in the cervical (neck) portion of my body that greatly affected my right shoulder, arm and hand. It turned out to be from a condition known as stenosis. Chronic pain and scary weakness in the affected areas was the result. Patrick has helped me eliminate the chronic pain and also has prepared me to continue to become much healthier going forward.
This engagement with Patrick has been my introduction to my acupuncture and western medicine. I have always been someone who didn’t realize how acupuncture was actually implemented or what it’s specific benefits were. I certainly do now.
I had a lot of years of stress and physical damage going on with my system but now I feel a thousand times better than I did just a few weeks ago. Patrick has treated me and taught me through this healing process. I emphasize the teaching part! He is as much of a teacher as much he is a physical healer, which is an incredible benefit to the whole recovery process for a patient.
The fact that Patrick works on me the entire time of an appointment also was a surprise. It was not the impression I heard from friends and family as they described their acupuncture experiences to me.
Another thing that he has taught me that is possible by an acupuncturist is that he reads certain vitals signs with his fingertips at the beginning of each session. In my experience, he is quite accurate as to gathering how my physical and emotional life have been since our last appointment. Pretty amazing to me.
Patrick puts all these aspects of great care, customer service and information into each appointment we have. Even as an acupuncture rookie, I am comfortable recommending Patrick for anyone’s acupuncture and holistic care.
Anyway, in summary, I envision myself implementing acupuncture into my life, at some interval, from here on.
I thank Patrick for that fact as well as this recovery that he has taken me through.
